If you've got the right equipment, it's pretty easy to shave your pubic area with an electric razor. Just be careful you don't mis-use any of the equipment, or it's gonna be a painful mistake.

Ideally what you want is one of those electric razors with the snap-on plastic guards. They're a little awkward to use around the nooks of your crotch, but they also keep you safe from cuts and pinches. They also make it easy to keep the trimming at an even height.

Start above the penis and slowly work your way back and forth across the hair up top. You might want to start a little longer than you think you want, and then you can always go shorter if you decide you want to keep going. But you do probably want a fairly short setting. Pubic hair is so curly if you leave the razor on long, it might not trim all that much.

If you don't have a plastic height/guard attachment, you can also carefully work your way across this area, pulling your pubic hair out straight and then trimming it at one half to one third the height. Just be careful; if you slip here it won't hurt but you'll get funny-looking bald patches.

Once you're feeling pretty handy with the razor, start to work down along the side of your balls. The area's tougher to get to, but the skin is still pretty smooth there so it's fairly easy to trim. Pull your penis and testicles up toward you, and make sure you trim back towards your ass as well.

At this point things get a little more touchy. You've got the shaft of the penis and most of the testicles left. The plastic guards might get in your way, but this is the area where you're most likely to catch a fold of skin in the electric razor, and believe me when I say being pinched like that really hurts. The trick is just to be patient and go slowly. Be careful to stretch out and flatten the skin around your testicles, and as much as possible try to just sweep across the areas that you flatten. With a little time and patience you can get most of those hairs trimmed back.

Once you're done, go ahead and rinse off in the shower. You might even want to shampoo down there to help keep the remaining hair soft—when it's shorter it's more bristly and can itch some, but it's usually not too bad.

As soon as you get a chance, try it out in the bedroom. If you're by yourself, this is definitely an occasion to get out the lube and really enjoy being able to reach the skin at the base of your penis. Something like the Under the Leg technique combined with the Reverse Grip would be just the thing. Or if you've got a partner handy, go for slow but deep penetration, and enjoy as all those extra inches of skin tell you they're feeling better than they ever have before.
